John C. Harvey

John Harvey founded Personalized Media Communications and is the primary inventor of the proprietary technology on which the company is based. Mr. Harvey started his career as an officer in the U.S. Navy, reaching the rank of Lieutenant. His responsibilities included oversight of the communications, electronics, and operations of a highly technical communications ship and task group. After leaving the Navy, and before deciding to devote his full time to the development of his own inventions, Mr. Harvey pursued a career in finance. During this period, he worked at the British merchant-banking firm, Hambros Bank Ltd., where he held positions in financial consulting, venture capital, and mergers and acquisitions; at Pfizer, Inc., where he served as Controller and Chief Financial Officer of a pharmaceutical division; and at ASARCO, Inc., where he held a variety of financial analysis and treasury-related assignments.
Mr. Harvey holds a B.A. degree in History from Yale University, an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School, and a B.Sc (Economics) from the University of London.
