Boyd Lemna advises PMC in matters pertaining to patent licensing and litigation. Mr. Lemna is the former Senior Vice President of Licensing at PMC and has been working with the company since 2010. Prior to joining PMC Mr. Lemna spent 14 years with the Canadian Armed Forces, working primarily as an aerospace systems engineer. After retiring from the military in 1997, he entered the patent licensing field, and has since held technical and executive roles at various companies, including Semiconductor Insights (now TechInsights), Global Intellectual Strategies, Alliacense (a division of the TPL group), and the Intellectual Property Research Group.

Mr. Lemna has been a member of Intellectual Asset Management magazine’s IAM list of world-class IP strategists since the program was initiated in 2008.
Mr. Lemna has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University in Canada, and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada.
